Annual snowmobile poker run returns to K-town
Enjoy the snow while seeking cash prizes at the 9th Annual Snowmobile Poker Run scheduled for Saturday, March 19 at the Peak Ranch north of Kremmling.
To further entice participation, the person with the winning hand will receive a full-day snowmobile adventure with Burandt’s Backcountry Adventures, donated by Chris Burandt.
This popular event is hosted by the Middle Park Fairboard as a fundraiser for the Centennial Celebration of the Middle Park Fair and Rodeo, which will be held this year from Aug. 10-14. To participate, you must register from 9 a.m. to noon at the beginning of the course, which is near Mile Marker #163 on US 40 near Rabbit Ears Pass. Look for and follow the signs that will be posted on the highway.
The course will be prepared by personnel from the Peak Ranch. The awards and cash prizes will be handed out at a ceremony starting at 4 p.m. at the Rocky Mountain Bar & Grill in Kremmling.
In addition to the Middle Park Fairboard, the event is sponsored by the West Grand Community Educational Foundation.
