Celebrate our Park’s Centennial, and ski free

Staff Report

The beautiful mountain scenery surrounding the Grand Lake Nordic Center is part of Rocky Mountain National Park, which was created in 1914. The Park is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year, and to celebrate with them the center is offering free ski passes for the official celebration day on Monday, Jan. 26, as well as discounted rental prices of $10.

The center will also offer a 1.5-hour guided snowshoe tour at 11 a.m., and a visit from a Park ranger starting at 10:30 a.m.

Call the Nordic Center at 970-627-8008 for more information.

Celebrate and enjoy the mountain majesty and pristine beauty we are so lucky to have in our own backyard.
