The Colorado River, Fraser River and many other small creeks are still fishing very well. Browns are starting to chase streamers.

Lake trout in Granby have been hitting Power minnows and grubs tipped with sucker meat. Grand lake is fishing very well for 15-20” lake trout along with an occasional large fish.

Pike at Williams fork continue to hit topwater baits in the evening, 3&4” ripple shads on 3/8 oz jig heads are getting a few throughout the day. Trollers are catching a few rainbows and browns long lining small crank baits over deep water and lake trout 60-80 feet deep with silver and gold spoons.

The fishing report is brought to you by “Fishing with Bernie” (www.fishingwithbernie.com). Bernie Keefe has been a fishing guide in the Middle Park area for over 20 years.
