Front Range weather impacts Grand County high school sports schedule

The heavy rain, flooding and road closures on the Front Range in recent days has impacted the schedules for local high school sports teams.

Middle Park football

The Panthers’ game with Ridgeview Academy scheduled for Friday, Sept. 13, in Watkins has been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 16, and will now be played in Granby at 5 p.m.

Middle Park boys soccer

The Panthers’ game against Bruce Randolph scheduled for Friday, Sept. 13, in Denver has been postponed and rescheduled to Thursday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. in Denver

West Grand football

The Mustangs’ game against Simla scheduled for Friday, Sept. 13, in Kremmling has been cancelled and will not be made up.
