Nifty Niners

on August 2, the Nifty Niners participated in a new game called “Team Poker.” Each member of the team did their part and the winning team included Teresa Harder, Margaret Nill, Lucette Kottcamp, and April Hilton. Putting winners were Teresa Harder and Jennie Negri and pars were made by Teresa Harder on #17, Jackie Davis on #10 and #18, and Stephanie Holt on #12. The weather cooperated and it was truly an awesome and fun day at the course.

Pole Creek Ladies

On Thursday August 4 the Pole Creek Ladies golf league enjoyed a cool, cloudy day playing a Nassau tournament. The Ladies played the Meadow and Ranch courses and recorded their Gross and Net scores. Prizes were awarded for the lowest front and back nine scores. The Low Gross winners were: Meadow: 1st Place Helen Brown 40, 2nd Place Linda Moore 41, 3rd Place Katherine Mowrey 43. Ranch: 1st Place Janet Conneely 42, 2nd Place Michelle DeFrange 45, 3rd Place Deb Kohlwey 48. The Low Net winners were: Meadow: 1st Place Mary Brooks 26, 2nd Place Stacy Hoffer 33, 3rd Place Tie} Susie Peterson 34, Darlene Klancke 34. Ranch:1st Place Tie} Diane Bishop 33, Sue Brooks 33, Jennifer Croft 33. 2nd Place Tie}Cathy Malone 35, Jeanne Anne MacDonald 35. 3rd Place Pat Venzke 37. Linda Moore had the fewest putts with 30. Deb Kohlwey, Carol Stott, Katie Simpson and Jeanne Anne MacDonald all shared the chip in pot.
