Governor’s Cup Race at Devil’s Thumb Ranch on Saturday

TABERNASH -The 24th Annual Colorado Governor’s Cup Ski Race takes place Jan. 22 at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.

This event brings skiers of all ages and abilities together for a day of racing, camaraderie and fun. $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to winners in the 5K, 17K and 30K races. Registration includes a BBQ and live entertainment for race participants.

The day’s events kick of with a 1K and 3K race for kids at 9:30 a.m. The 1K race is free. The 3K race costs $10.

The mass start for the 30K skate and classic races begins at 11 a.m. Entry into the 30K races costs $40 online and $55 on race day.

At 11:05 a.m., the 17K skate and classic races start. Entry fee is $40 online and $55 on race day.

At 11:10 a.m. the 5K skate and classic races start. Entry fee is $25 online and $45 on race day.
