Harlem Ambassadors Tour in Grand County
The Grand County Blazers take on the Harlem Ambassadors in a comedy basketball show the whole family will enjoy.on Thursday, April 21. Merrit Linke, Grand County Commissioner, who played basketball for Middle Park High School and intramural in college will be playing on the Blazer’s teams.
“We have a great hope of beating the Ambassadors as long as everyone on the Blazers is much younger, faster and more athletic than me,” Linke said.
“This game is for a great cause and I’m happy to participate.”
The game starts at 7 p.m. at Middle Park High School. Proceeds from the event benefit Grand Futures Prevention Coalition to raise money for developing new and enhancing existing programs.
The event is sponsored in part by Grand County Sheriff’s Department, Alpine Lumber, Mountain Parks Electric and Maverick’s Grille.
