Huskies girls soccer team wins second championship

The Intermountain Youth Soccer Assocation’s Huskies U13 Girls team just completed its second back-to-back undefeated soccer season in the Gold division.

In the two championship seasons they have amassed impressive statistics. Just a few are listed:

• 14 wins, two draws and “0” losses.

• 59 goals made by the Huskies in those two seasons of league play.

• 4.21 goals per game over that span of time.

• Only five goals allowed in two seasons.

• Never allowed more than one opposing goal in any one game.

• For every one goal allowed, Huskies scored 11.8 goals or 11.8/1 GF/GA ratio.

• Nine games in which the Huskies shutout their opponents.
