First light until 8-9 a.m. use small jigs tipped with a wax worm in 3-10 feet of water. This seems to be a great bet for rainbows and browns. Lake trout are eagerly biting small jigs tipped with sucker meat. Slush on the lakes is starting to become a problem, traveling light can help. The pump canal and interconnecting channel is fishing well with small jigs under a bobber. Shadow Mountain spillway is fishing well for brown trout.

Bernie Keefe has been a fishing guide in the area for over 20 years. For more info please check out or Facebook fishing with Bernie.
