Kremmling – Bits ‘n Spurs begins summer events on Saturday

Bits ‘n Spurs, a nonprofit saddle club, will host seven events at the Middle Park Fairgrounds in Kremmling starting at 10 p.m. Saturday, June 6.

The club offers a full day of fun, low-cost and low-stress events for the family featuring numerous age groups starting with 5 and under to the Over the Hill crowd of 50 and over.

The club offers four events: barrel racing, pole bending, key hole race and a surprise race in all age categories. Entry fees are $2 per class. Exhibitions runs are $2. Family memberships are $15. Single memberships are $10. Show dates this year are June 6, 13, 27, July 11, 25, and August 15, 22.

Participants must supply their own horse and equipment. Boots and pants are required. Participants must attend three of seven events to qualify for year end awards.
