Kremmling Classic results are in

The results are finally in for the Kremmling Classic foot races held on Saturday, June 21, during the Kremmling Days Celebration.

A total of 87 runners and walkers took part in the fun walk/run event. They had their choice of participating in either the 10-mile, 5-mile or 3-mile races, which started and finished at Kremmling’s Town Square.

The results for the 2008 Kremmling Classic are:

The Kremmling Classic was the second race of the 2008 Center of the Universe Trail Running Series. The other races in this year’s series include:

– The Road Kill Half-Marathon and 5-Mile Race is planned for Saturday, Sept. 13. The start and finish for both the 13- and 5-mile courses is at the Town Square.

– The Gore Grind 6 Mile is slated for Sunday, Oct. 12. The start and finish areas are located on County Road 14.

The 2008 “Center of the Universe” Trail Running Series is sponsored by the Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, Big Shooter Cafe and the local office of the Bureau of Land Management.

The race organizers are Shawn and Stephenie Scholl, owners of the Big Shooter Cafe in Kremmling.

A major goal of the trail running series is to help introduce the public to the Kremmling area as an excellent place for a number of recreational activities.
