Sky-Hi News Staff

The MPHS Girls Soccer team is having a great season. This season is about instilling confidence in the players and drills, drills, drills, said coach Jared Bacon. This is Bacon’s second year as the varsity coach after 20 years coaching club teams in St. Louis. Assistant Coach is Brad McClain. JV coach is Jeff Ehlert.

As part of the preparation for the season the team has participated in team building exercises as well as fundraisers; all leading to a winning season.

Currently, they are in 2nd place and playoffs start next week.

The team won their conference game on Monday afternoon against Jefferson 10-0. They play today, Tuesday afternoon, at 4 p.m. at Middle Park High School, and then the final regular season game is Friday at home.
