MPHS Panthers play Wednesday, girls play Thursday

MPHS Panthers and Lady Panthers played their first games in the Frontier League tournament on Saturday, Feb. 20.
The Lady Panthers handily defeated Bruce Randolph 57-25 in their first game in the tournament. Next they will take on The Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 at Sheridan High School in Denver. Win or lose the ladies will play again on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Denver either for the Frontier League Championship or for 3rd place. Either way, they will definitely make it into the State Tournament.
The Panther boys fell to The Academy 82-69 last Saturday. They will play next at home at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24 versus Platte Canyon at Middle Park High School. If they win against Platte they will play their final game in the Frontier league tournament on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Sheridan High School in Denver looking for a bid to the State Tournament. Please come out and support our athletes in this final home game of the season.
