Pole Creek Ladies golf
The Pole Creek Ladies golf league enjoyed fabulous weather on Aug. 8 by playing a “Skills Tournament.” Points were added on each hole for their skills on the fairways, sand, greens in regulation and long putts.
The winners were Linda Moore, Lori Myers and Mary Byerrum, who tied for first place with 23 points each, while Pat Riddell, Diane Bishop tied for second with 21 points apiece.
Deb Kohlwey had the longest drive. Linda Moore was closest to the pin, and Andrea Singleton was closest to the line. Maggy Helm, Janet Conneely, Jamie Dooley and Linda Moore all shared the chip in pot, and Moore had the fewest putts with 29.
