Possible aerial adventure park for Fraser

The town of Fraser is considering a license for an aerial adventure park that would be located behind the Fraser Activities Center. The plan is still in the early stages, but the adventure center may include an ice climbing tower, a zip line and other aerial activities.

This could be a unique opportunity for visitors to experience ice climbing without having to drive to Ouray, or book a guided tour elsewhere in the state. Grand County is already full of outdoor adventures, and this could add one that cannot be found without driving for many hours. This would be an opportunity for the county that may attract people that do not ski, but want to visit for other outdoor recreation activities.

Again, the plan is in early stages, but the ice climbing wall could open as early as this winter.
