Roberts wins Grand Lake Men’s Golf Club championship
Ted Roberts shot a finishing round 79 to win the 2019 Grand Lake Men’s Golf Club championship on Aug. 29.
Roberts, a golf instructor at Grand Lake, opened the tournament with an 82, and he edged out Bernie McGinn by one stroke for the title.
McGinn had rounds of 86 and 76. This marks Roberts’ first club title while McGinn has won multiple championships.
Low net champions included Jim Negri in Flight A at 151, and Donny Summers won Flight B at 143. John Murray and Gary Littlefield tied for the Flight C championship at 146.
