‘Ski and Soak day planned for women at Devils Thumb

Women can enjoy a real treat this Sunday, Jan. 6 as the Devils Thumb Cross Country Center offers its first-ever Ski & Soak Day.During this inaugural event, which starts at 10 a.m., women have the opportunity to learn the art of cross country ski skating from University of Denver ski coaches. The two-hour instruction is for both beginner and advanced skiers.Along with the ski instruction, participants will be provided lunch and then can soak in the geo-thermally heated pool and hot tubs at Devils Thumb Ranch. The days activities also include yoga classes provided by the ranchs spa.All the ski equipment for the day is provided. Atomic Ski and Swix vendors will be on hand to provide demo equipment and waxing instruction.The cost of the Ski & Soak Day is only $65.
