State wrestling update: Visconti to wrestle for state title

DENVER—Middle Park’s Adam Visconti will wrestle for the state title at 152 pounds in Class 3A after defeating Elias Altimarano of La Junta in the semifinals by a major decision 10-2 on Friday evening, Feb. 21, at the Colorado State High School Wrestling Championships at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Visconti will face Jason Buhr of Centauri in the championship match on Saturday evening. Buhr was the state champion at 145 pounds last year.
