The rivers are “blown out,” most are high. Fly fishers can still hit the Shadow Mountain inlet to Granby. Rainbow are in there and fishing is good. The Pike fishing at Williams Fork is very good. They are willing to hit lures fished aggressively. Browns and Rainbows are hitting crankbaits and small spoons along the shore at Grand Lake and Granby. Lake Trout are starting to move a little deeper. Granby water levels have risen 5 feet in the past week, be careful of underwear obstacles and floating objects. Please be careful and release any larger fish, these fish can be at least 40 years old and could use our protection. The lakes are changing rapidly, the successful anglers are changing their presentations many times during the day.

Bernie Keefe has been a fishing guide in the Granby area for over 15 years
