The Fishing Corner: Three colors lead core, orange spoon is ‘the ticket’

There were reports of some Kokanee being caught off of rocky point in Granby. One person said trolling three colors of lead core with an orange spoon was the ticket. Willow Creek is still producing a few rainbows with bait during the day, flies and lures are working early and late in the day. Look for risers in the evening and cast your offering into the area of the rise. Rainbows, browns and a few Kokanee are being caught on Shadow mountain; trolling around the islands seems to be working. The lakers in Grand lake and Granby are still eating various jigs and lures, the presentation seems to vary from day to day. The streams in Rocky Mountain National Park and Winter Park are fishing very well during the afternoon with Grasshopper patterns.
