The Roaring Fork Trail is beautiful hiking trail adjacent to Roaring Fork Creek, which is named for its powerful force of water rushing down the mountain even through late summer. This trail is in need of an adopter that loves to hike! It is about a 6.5 mile (one way) steep climb through lodgepole pines and aspens, then transfers through spruce and fir trees. There are glorious views of Lake Granby along the trail with accesses to the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. This trail is located at the end of CR 6 (FSR 125), next to the Arapaho Bay campgrounds. You can help preserve this trail or a handful of others by adopting them and keeping them clean, clear and sustainable!
