Warrior’s Scramble Catch and Release Ice Fishing Tournament winners

Alfonso Martinez of Commerce City is the 2nd place winner of the inaugural Warrior's Scramble Catch and Release Ice Fishing Tournament held on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The winners of the The inaugural Warrior’s Scramble Catch and Release Ice Fishing Tournament held on Saturday, Feb. 13 were Roman Piguliak of Silverthorne won first place with a 20 ½” Rainbow Trout; second place went to Alfonso Martinez from Commerce City with his 19 ½” Rainbow and Granby local, Donald Ransom took third place with a 13 ½” Rainbow.

Project Healing Waters; the beneficiary of the tournament, provided prizes in addition to the cash the winners received from Jubilee Events. A very excited Matt Meisegeier from Streamboat Springs went home with a new Pro Flo toilet in the Lowe’s Bucket Drawing. The toilet was donated to the tournament from Ferguson Plumbing in Granby. The Vexilar fish finder went to an angler from Clark.

Door prizes were provided by Ferguson Plumbing in Granby, WalMart, Murdoch’s in Silverthorne, the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce, Rick “Worm” Charbonneau, Blue Mountain Grill in Granby, Timber Resources in Parshall, Grand County Historical Association, City Market in Granby and Trophy Garage Door of Kremmling.



The Warrior’s Scramble Catch and Release Ice Fishing Tournament was a partnership between Denver Water, Grand County Colorado Tourism and Jubilee Events.
