Spring snow storm could dump up to 15 inches across county, mountain corridor

Don’t put your shovels away just yet.

The National Weather Service in Boulder has issued a winter storm watch for the mountains and high peaks of north central Colorado, which includes Grand County.

Six to 12 inches of snow could fall from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning, according to the weather service. Some areas could see up to 15 inches.

Wind speeds could also reach up to 35 mph, causing difficult travel conditions.
