State track: Day 3 wrap-up

A summary of the action from the third and final day of the Colorado State High School Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood:

•West Grand senior Travis Gore finished third in the finals of the 2A boys 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 15.62.

•Middle Park senior Sam Little defended his 3A boys 110-meter high hurdles title winning with a time of 14.50. Little also defended his 300-meter hurdle title winning in a time of 39.31.

•West Grand freshman Tabor Scholl won the 2A girls 1600-meter run with a time of 5:02.91 to go along with the 800-meter title she won on Friday.

•The Middle Park 4×400 relay team (Travis Potts, Ramsey Blahnik, Kellen Lutz and Sam Little) placed second in the 3A boys 4×400 relay final running a school record 3:24.74.

•West Grand’s Kaitlyn Adams finished in 15th place in the 2A girls discus with a throw of 91-0.

•West Grand’s Casey Gore finished in a tie for 10th place in the 2A boys high jump (5-8).
