Story neglected fact that artist no longer lives here

To the Editor:

I am having some problems with some of the articles that are written in the Sky-Hi Daily News.

The one that I am still questioning was the article written a few weeks ago about a Grand Lake artist named Calvin. The article was written like he is still living in Grand Lake and is a member of our community.

Those of us that knew Calvin liked him a lot. However, Calvin moved to Denver about three years ago and hasn’t been around Grand County since.

I would think that if the paper wants to recognize people in this community, write about someone who lives in the community and is active in community affairs.

We have so many wonderful people in our community, who do so much for the community, that deserve some recognition.
