Support will allow Center 4 Excellence to provide courses

To the Editor:

As director of the Grand County Center 4 Excellence, I wish to personally thank and recognize all the sponsors, youth and adults who came out and worked or performed during the event on Dec. 29.

We had over 11 young people ages 17-23 participating. A number of parents and local youth came out in support of the event as well.

Thanks to fundraising efforts such as this, we will be able to offer courses and workshops to high school and young adult students and their families beginning on Jan. 24 this year.

In addition to all the people who helped out, two thumbs up to:

Grand Mountain Bank

Resort Management Group, LLC

Budweiser (Steve)

Sky-Hi Daily News (Erin, Cyndi)

Planet O

Grand Lake Lanes

The Rustic Urn

The Western Riviera

We are on our way to “Building a better future … one student at a time.”
