Suspect arrested in connection to Kremmling burglaries

An arrest has been made in connection with the recent burglaries that swept through the downtown Kremmling area hitting five different businesses last month.

An arrest warrant was obtained and served for Tommy Lee Dykes, 20, of Kremmling, who is currently being held in Clear Creek County Jail on five felony burglary charges and one felony theft charge. Dykes will soon be transported to the Grand County Jail to face charges in 14th Judicial District Court, according to Kremmling Police Chief Scott Spade.

“He was initially a suspect but as we continued to investigate, we received sufficient evidence to obtain an arrest warrant,” Spade said.
