Ted Kaplysh: Vote no on Proposition 103
To the Editor:It is not enough to be against Proposition 103 – you must vote NO on Proposition 103 at the election to be held Nov. 1. The only other issues on the ballot will be the election of school board members. But do not let the small number of issues deter you from voting NO on Proposition 103 because a simple majority of the votes cast will determine whether or not YOUR state income tax rate will be increased by 8 percent and state sales tax rate increased by 3.44 percent.Early voting begins and mail-in ballots and absentee ballots are mailed Oct. 11 for the election to be held on Nov. 1. Please check with Sara Rosene, our clerk & recorder, and her staff at 970-725-3110 to make sure you are eligible to vote in the manner you choose.Don’t let the special interests supporting these tax increases win by your failure to vote NO on Proposition 103 at the election this Nov. 1.Ted KaplyshGranby
