Teen’s take the stage at RMRT
Grand County teens take the stage as Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s Youth Theatre Program concludes this weekend with the Teen Theatre Academy, an intensive three-week program designed to prepare each participant for the craft of theater, music and dance at high school and college levels.Clare Arena, second-year director of the TTA said, “Audience will be amazed by these fifteen incredibly talented actors performing songs from current Broadway hits including Wicked, Spamalot and Hairspray.”Participants in the 2010 TTA include: Becca Bretz, Ansley Colbeck, Jacob Currington, Isaac Elliot, Ariana Fisher, Josh Leman, Kaylene Loo, Kaya Love, Sarah McCarth, Noah Nabhan, Ashley North, Shelia Orr, Shayla Steranko, Alyssa Turner and Kaitlyn Williams. The RMRT Youth Theatre Programs would like to thank its official sponsors: The Grand Foundation, The Bear’s Den, Big Valley Construction, Cabin Quilts & Stitches, Humphrey’s Cabin Fever and Carquest. The Grand Lake Community House curtain rises on the teens at 2 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 7 and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8. Call the Box Office at (970) 627-3421 to reserve your seats.
