Thank you for all your kindness from the family of Craig Thomason

This is an open letter of gratitude to the community of Grand County. On behalf of Craig Thomason’s family, we would like to thank the kind and generous folk who attended and supported the Craigstock events of Sept. 22 and 23. We are extremely pleased to report that the effort has raised over $25,000 for the Craigy T Fund, which was more than we had anticipated. We were all simply overwhelmed, both by the turnout at the Pub and Fontenot’s and by the success of the silent auctions. Once again we are all reminded of the blessings of living in Grand County, where the community always pulls together to support one another through difficult times. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the following businesses and individuals that donated their facilities and/or products for the fundraiser: the Winter Park Pub, Fontenot’s Fresh Seafood and Grill, Shamrock Foods, Sysco Foods, B & K Distributing, National Distributing, Rocky Mountain Moonshine, the Sky Hi News, the Winter Park/Fraser Chamber of Commerce, McConnell Printing, and Marty Aither. Our appreciation also goes out to all of the donors for the silent auctions (who, fortunately for the effort, are too many to list!), the dozens of musicians and their bands (all who worked pro bono at the Pub!), the employees at the establishments that hosted the events, and all the volunteers that helped us make this such a successful endeavor. At this time, we are still waiting for all of the pieces of the puzzle with respect to Craig’s affairs to come together. Once all of the details are in, the fund will be placed in action, and at that time we will be pleased to report how it is distributed.Once again, a hearty thank you to all of you who were a part of such an amazing display of community and family! The Thomason Family
