Thank you for contributions to Pioneer Penny Drive

A big thank you goes out to all who contributed to the Penny’s for Pioneer Penny Drive on Saturday, Oct. 6.

It was a success for the folks who were reached Due to a lack of volunteers we were unable to reach all the neighborhoods. The ones that were reached were very generous and a pleasure to meet.

Remember, this Penny Drive is for the whole month of October, so those who didn’t get a knock on the door and who have change jars just sitting around the house collecting dust, please put it to good use by helping your Grand County museums.

They are housed in buildings that on a yearly basis need repairs to stay safe and operational, so drop off your jars at either of these two museums: the Pioneer Village Museum and the Cozen’s Museum.

October is also Kid’s month. Please call (970) 725-3939 for more information about how you can visit the museums with parents for free.
