Thank you letter: Trinity Church makeover
We appreciate the great coverage of the “nearly extreme makeover” fundraiser held on Sept. 23 that not only met the target of $40,000 but well exceeded it. Construction will begin May 1 for improvements to Trinity Church in the Pines’ pastor’s home. The $6,500 raised for TCP Food Bank and Angels Outreach (FB/AO) fund means on average an additional 130 individuals can be fed and/or helped with rent, utilities, medical emergencies, child-related issues, and other needs. This event could not have been successful if not for the amazing people of Grand County who prayed, donated, attended, bought, encouraged others to come and/or give and even placed their bids online. We thank all those who donated items for the auctions. Because of you givers along with the merchants of the community – we were able to offer 141 items for auction. You know who you are and we so appreciate your GRAND part in helping make this event an overwhelming success. Thank you also to Peggy Mann and Larry Bacon, the Joyful Noise Boys and Four on the Floor for rounding out the fun night with great entertainment. Additionally we want to give a big SHOUT OUT and thank you to the merchants who donated. We realize you are “hit” up again and again for donations to so many great causes and needs. We so appreciate your generosity, do not take lightly your gifts and want to acknowledge all of you. Thank you – Rapids Restaurant and Lodge, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, Williams Tree Service, Mountain Food Market, Grand Lake Golf Course, Grand Elk Golf Course, Humphrey’s Cabin Fever, Grand Lake Wine and Spirits, Cabin Quilts & Stitches, Boater’s Choice, Fine Property Management, Whispering Pines, Never Summer Fitness, Marit Faivre Massage Therapy, O-A Bistro, Sagebrush BBQ & Grill, First Class Auto Center, Lisa Tarr – Your Art’s Desire, Terrace Inn, Stitching Post, Fat Cat, Red Sled, Cascade Bookstore, Blue Water Bakery, Max & T’s, El Pacifico, Pancho & Lefty’s, Grand Pizza The Sun Piper, Neils Lunceford Inc, Ian’s Mountain Bakery, and The Paw Paw Patch. We are hopeful this will become an annual event for the FB/AO fund allowing us to continue to assist those in need around us. Mary Bacon, Deb Gahan, Steph Holt and Sara MoranTCP Fundraiser Committee
