Thanks to a generous Grand County community, a year after his accident, Zack is going to college

To the Editor:

Dear Grand County,

It is hard to believe that it has been a year since Zack had his accident.

In less than two weeks, he will be going off to start college at Mesa State. While it has been the longest and most difficult year of our lives, the time was made so much easier due to all the help and prayers we received from all of you in this community and beyond. We really don’t know how we would have gotten to this point without all of you.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would once again like to thank you as we send Zack out on this new journey. You’re a very special group of people.
