The Irvines perform at Winter Park’s Cooper Square tonight

The Irvines will perform at Music on the Mall at Cooper Creek Square from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 31. The free concert is a great way to kick off the weekend.

Grand County is home to many talented musicians. Husband and wife musical team Kay and Andy Irvine are no exception.

Their love of music and each other is apparent when they hit the stage together. Kay plays piano and sings and Andy plays electric guitar. The Irvines perform songs from soul to classic rock and blues, to their own original tunes. If you’ve never heard Kay sing Aretha Franklin, you’ve got to check it out.

Kay’s piano skills and powerful voice are complemented by Andy’s tasteful funky guitar playing. Together they bring a light-hearted and fun musical journey through some of our favorite periods of popular American music.
