The Lift to switch to spring schedule on Monday

It’s springtime for The Lift.

The town of Winter Park announced this week that The Lift, Winter Park and Fraser’s free bus service, will shift over to its spring schedule on April 23.

The change means that service will be reduced to one line that goes between Winter Park Resort and Fraser with a new fixed-route service through Grand Park. Buses on this route will run once an hour between 7 a.m. and 2 a.m. Service to Granby will shut down until mid-November.

If you’re near a bus stop in the Winter Park or Fraser area that’s not located along Highway 40 or Grand Park, you can contact dispatch at (970) 726-4163 to be picked up by the bus at the nearest stop. You can also call for service between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m.

Hourly service will run until mid-June, when route frequency will change to accommodate more summer activities.
