The Viking Lodge and Ski Shop in Winter Park has new owners

WINTER PARK – The Viking Lodge and Ski Shop, 78966 US Highway 40, next door to Cooper Creek Square, was recently purchased by longtime locals Jill and Scott Sutcliffe and Shannon and Ben Cormier.

The Lodge has 23 guest rooms ranging in size from 100 square foot double rooms to 3 bedroom-plus-loft and 3 bath condominium. The Viking Lodge is also among the most affordable lodging options in Winter Park.

The Ski Shop has more than 300 rental skis and boots and sells merchandise by some of the most recognizable names in the industry, including Spyder, Obermeyer, NEFF, Smith, and Under Armour.

There is also a full service tune shop, Bob’s Shop – The World’s Best Tunes, and Wear Me Out T-Shirt Shop.

On Saturday, Dec. 17, from 5-7 p.m., The Viking Lodge and Ski Shop will be hosting a Christmas Open House featuring discounts on merchandise and lodging and free holiday treats.
