This week in local history: Crews make way for Arrow lift at Winter Park Resort

Winter Parks crews demolish the Comet T-bar lift building at the base of the mountain at Winter Park ski area to make way for the new double chair lift, The Arrow Lift. The project is part of the summer improvements scheduled at the area. The Comet was 18 inches of solid concrete and it took about five hours to level the structure.
