Today, Oct. 4, is the deadline to register to vote for the general election
The deadline to register to vote for the general election is Monday, Oct. 4. Voters can visit co.grand.co.us to register to vote, or to verify their voter registration information.
Oct. 26 is the deadline to apply for a general election mail-in ballot if the ballot is to be mailed. If the ballot is to be picked up, the last day to apply is Oct. 29.
Ballots will be mailed to voters who have requested mail-in ballots for the general election and voters with permanent mail-in ballot status beginning Oct. 12. Ballots were mailed to U.S. military and overseas voters on Sept. 18.
Voters can also choose to vote early at the County Clerk’s office at 308 Byers Ave. in Hot Sulphur Springs from 8:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, Oct. 18-29.
Voters may also cast ballots on Election Day at their assigned polling places. Polling places will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
