Todd Hagenbuch will protect Grand County’s water and property rights

To the Editor:

In a few days we will pick our representative for Colorado House District 57. This will be the person who will work with the West Slope to protect our environment and the private property rights of those who own water rights.

Todd Hagenbuch is a fourth generation rancher whose family has owned and administered water rights for all four generations. He is the person that I believe can work for the delicate balance of keeping our rivers alive while protecting the private water rights granted through Colorado’s Prior Appropriation Doctrine.

I am a registered Republican, but this time I am voting for the candidate that will be best for West Slope water, even if he’s not a Republican.

If you have any questions, go to his Web site at http://www.toddforcolorado.com.
