Tops of the Rockies thanks all who contributed to its success

To the Editor:”Tops of the Rockies,” the fourth annual benefit for Juniper Library and the other Grand County libraries, was a huge success again this year.Participants enjoyed wine tasting, appetizers, piano music and lovely views of Grand Lake as they bid generously on many beautiful items and fun activities in the Grand Lake area. We are very grateful to all the contributors, participants and the hard working committees who made it possible to present such a welcome donation to our Grand County Libraries.We especially want to send a big “THANK YOU” to the designers of the imaginative tables: Marjorie Cranston and Gina Knochenmus, Bob Scott and Sally Daniel, Gini Kinder, Judy Jensen and Carol McMurry, Jane Kemp, Lucy Mueller, Susan and Rick Kueker and Michelle Hendry, Donna Ready and Heather Lyons, Laura Lang and Bill Swartz’s photography.Many thanks to the following committee chairs helped organize the event: Jane Kemp, Jeanne Campbell, Muriel Johnson, Diane Mahoney, Ann Feucht, and Sue Rewold.In addition, the following contributed to our special evening: Joan Shaw, pianist, Richard McQueary, auctioneer with Peter Esmonde, Gail Brooks and Scott Ready, photographers, Grand Lake Wine and Spirits, Republic National Distributing, Terrace Inn, The Paper Clip, Susan Rewold Realty, Steve Cormey, sound system, Peggy Mann, performer, and the Honorary Chairs, Pam and Mike Golden.
