Tree work continues on popular U.S. Forest roads
Due to a lapse in federal government funding, the Sulphur Ranger District office remains closed.
The roadside hazard tree contractor will continue working in the Church Park area on Beaver Creek Road (FSR 133); Crooked Creek Road (FSR 139) and will be moving to Big Meadows Road (FSR 253). These roads will be closed to all uses when work is underway and reopened when work is complete. In the meantime, the contractor will be responsible for managing these closure areas.
Further updates will be made to the status of these roads online and by email once funding has been restored.
