Unannounced spraying Fraser was unwelcome
August 23, 2009
To the Editor:
I would just like to thank the town of Fraser for dousing my neighborhood, and ruining my attempt at an organic garden, with herbicides completely unannounced. This is a great daily toxin supplement; I wasn’t sure I was getting the recommended dose from all the spraying of pine beetle pesticides.
It’s common knowledge, any fifth-grader could even tell you, that these toxins remain in and accumulate through the food chain.
On the plus side, Lake Granby could hold a fishing contest and give the prize to whoever catches a three-eyed fish and we could tell the tourists “come and visit a little piece of Chernobyl in Colorado.”
