Update: Berthoud Pass snow slide, one lane is open

As of 12:45 p.m. CDOT has opened one lane of traffic in alternate directions on Berthoud Pass.

Grand County Sheriff’s office confirms that no vehicles are stuck in the slide. Further updates will be posted on CDOT’s website.

At 12:21 today, Grand County Sheriff’s office reported a snow slide blocking US Highway 40 on Berthoud Pass.



There are no known injuries or burials. Some vehicles are stranded in the slide and are being evacuated for safety concerns.
