Update on Grand Lake snowmobile crash, woman rescued

A woman crashed her snowmobile this morning Feb. 13 on the trail system in Grand Lake. Grand Lake Fire was first on scene and initiated the incident command, according to John Sanderson, GCSAR’s president. A Grand Lake Fire member, one MMRT (Mountain Medical Response Team) member, and one Search and Rescue member brought her back to On The Trail Rental, a snowmobile rental shop in Grand Lake, to an awaiting ambulance. She did not have life threatening injuries. She was taken Middle Park Medical Center.
