The first one is called bug week, a field trip for the science classes to study the bugs found in Grand County rivers in their natural habitat. Two or three volunteers are needed for Thursday Sept. 22. No scientific training is needed.

The second volunteer opportunity is for an event called Watershed Week. This is for all classes and also involves a field trip where two or three volunteers are needed. This field trip will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
