Voting begins in Obama speech competition

DENVER (AP) – The White House is looking for help deciding which high school should win a graduation speech by President Barack Obama.Six high schools are in the running, including the Denver School of Science & Technology.Starting Monday, the public can see and rate three-minute videos and short essays from each school at http://www.WhiteHouse.gov/Commencement.Voting will continue through Thursday. Obama will pick a winner from the three top finishers on May 4.The other schools in the competition are in Overland Park, Kansas, Cincinnati, Ohio, Lawndale, Calif., Kalamazoo, Mich. and Miami.
