Western White House is great idea
Promoting the Western White House (in Fraser) is a great idea. I’ll never forget, at the age of 8, seeing a picture of President Eisenhower, Axel Nielson and Don and George Yaeger, hanging on the wall in the small bar at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.
Too bad the Sky-Hi News online comment section is closed down – I would love to relate some of those stories and memories.
I have a feeling very few people in Grand County know much about the history of where they live.

The Grand County Sheriff’s Office fielded 226 calls from Jan. 10-17 while dispatchers answered 519 calls for all first-responder agencies in the county.
