Whiskey & Wings takes place at Winter Park Resort on Sept. 7
WINTER PARK – Whiskey & Wings Festival returns to Winter Park Resort to delight taste buds from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m, this Saturday, Sept. 7.
Visitors can sample the best chicken wings from local restaurants, who are vying for the coveted People’s Choice Award, while enjoying fine whiskey from area distillers. A Whiskey vs. Bourbon seminar will also be held in the Village Gazebo from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. before the Jami Lunde Band takes the stage at 2 p.m. to provide some live music.
Wing tasting tickets are $1 (a buck a wing), while whiskey tasting tickets are $2. For $10, guests can get four tickets that can be used for wings or whiskey, as well as a commemorative glass. Tickets can be purchased in the Village at Winter Park beginning at 11 a.m.
