Winter Park business expo is Wednesday

The Winter Park – Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce and Businesses Without Borders 5th Annual Business Expo will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Winter Park Station.

This free Expo is a way for the general public to check out local businesses, find job opportunities, get great deals and giveaways including a 2009/2010 Winter Park Season Pass and prize basket designed by Frank Expressions worth $500. This basket is comprised of goodies donated by participating exhibitors. Goodies in the basket include bottles of wine, gift certificates, a complimentary quarter-page ad in the Sky-Hi-Daily News and air time on Channel 17 Mountain TV.

Over 50 businesses ranging from different restaurants, retail, services, activities and lodging are exhibiting.

Don’t have a booth? Bring your business cards and market among the masses. This event gives all local businesses a special opportunity to market to fellow business owners and locals, giving your business that much more exposure in Grand County. Businesses are encouraged to send their front-house staff to familiarize themselves with the community businesses. This way they’ll be better educated about the community for guests this winter.
