Winter Park Christian school stages musical adventure

Winter Park Christian School K- 6 grade students are presenting the musical drama “The Big Trip” at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6. The school is located 1 mile west of Tabernash on Highway 40 in the Winter Park Christian Church Building.

The musical was written by Kids Evangelism Explosion and is being directed by Karen Kuhns and Molly Lipke. The drama unfolds in the airport as a group of students wait for their missions-trip departure to Jamaica. During a delay caused by bad weather, the students meet two young boys who are traveling alone. They strike up a conversation and over the course of eight entertaining scenes and ten delightful songs, they share the Good News of Jesus in an up-beat, memorable, and thoroughly enjoyable way. The performance is free of charge and nursery and toddler care are provided. Call the school office at 970-887-9784 for more information.
